Pit Bull Terrier - Xavier - Large - Young - Male - Dog
Xavier is a 4-5 year old Pit Bull Mix who came into our shelter as a stray. When he's outside and able to enjoy the weather, he is about as normal a dog as their is. He needs an experienced owner who will spend time with him and maybe take him to a few training classes. He LOVES people, and with the right owner (and experienced) would probably do well with another dog - introduced in the right way. Xaviers adoption fee has bee prepaid by volunteers as that's how much he is believed in. Xavier loves to play catch and loves all forms of human interaction. I would NOT recommend that Xavier been in a cat household. Our cats are separate from the dogs, but if he catches sight of a cat, it's obvious what he could and would do. The only way he could be in a household with cats is if he has an incredibly diligent owner who has training experience. Otherwise, Xavier is an incredible dog. He loves walks, and definitley loves his toys and treats. Just needs someone who'll be a best friend.
