Pit Bull Terrier - Max - Medium - Young - Male - Dog
Max is a 3 year old that came to us as a puppy. He was part of a litter of 11 puppies rescued from Tennessee. He was adopted to a family w/5 young children and was not trained or taken care of properly. Max came back to us about 1 1/2 years ago underweight and terrified of men and with Lyme Disease. He was then adopted along w/Lily to a woman that loved them, but ended up working so many hours that they were being crated for excessive amounts of time. They had no place to run or expend their energy. Max is actually pretty well trained. He definitley listens to people. He gets along w/some dogs, but not others. Max & Lily actually spend a lot of time outside together as they fell in love with each other from day one. Max should be an only pet for now. Max is really a great dog - we're really hoping that he gets a 2nd chance as he really deserves a great home! His claim to fame is that he acts like a Mexican jumping bean - loves to jump straight up and down - over and over and over.........
