Chesapeake Bay Retriever - Tyson - Large - Adult - Male - Dog
A local kill shelter called and asked if we would take "Tyson." A volunteer had worked with Tyson so he knows basic commands...... This dog is an incredible dog. He loves walks and loves playing in the yard. He likes to retrieve balls. He apparently was abandoned in the city of Newburgh, NY. If we hadn't taken him, he wouldn't have the chance to find a family that could truly appreciate him. Sometimes he acts like he has no class, however I think it's because he gets so excited. He has become friendly with Xavier and we are letting them have play time together, but monitored. Tyson has a goofball personality and definitely is entertaining and YES, that is his ear inside out. Just one of his funny antics. Oh, he LOVES the water too! Tyson is a big boy, so can seem intimidating, however as with any dog adoption, please plan on several visits and then maybe a nice walk with one of our volunteers. The best of friends aren't usually made in one day. As far as we know, Tyson is about 4 years of age.
